The Ethiopia Gelana Abaya natural coffees are produced in the Gelana and Abaya “woredas” which literally mean districts, and are located a few kilometers to the northwest of the town of Yigacheffe, famous for its coffees. This area is nestled between Lake Abaya on the west and the town of Yirgacheffe on the East. The attention to detail in the processes in the Gelana Abaya washing stations is impressive, so it comes as no surprise that coffees coming from these two woredas are amazingly delicious and give just the right touch of complexity to the cup.
Taste a complex and unique cup that is aromatic and sweet. Look for notes of dried fruits like plum with ripe grapes notes. Next to those this coffee shows a balanced fruity sweetness with smooth body.
