  • Kenya Fully Washed AA Kirinyaga

Kenya is one of the best coffee origins worldwide.

This remarkable coffee is grown in volcanic loam soil on Mount Kenya, which rises high above Kirinyaga County, Kenya at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level.
The farmers make a real effort out of only selecting the ripest red cherries. They hand picked the cherries and then all the collected cherries go at the washing station. After harvest, the coffee cherries go through depulping and fermenting. The nearby river water fully washed this Kenya Kirinyaga, twice. (This water is recycled and the husk is used for composting). It is then dried on raised beds in the sun.
This Kenya Fully Washed AA Kirinyaga lot consists of the famous varietals SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11 and gives you a typical Kenyan profile.
